Contact us: Goal is to create a fillable form that will go to designated committee, webmaster, or Executive board member

Committees: Will include information on all of our committees and information about committee days

Ministry in Action: will include our Tithely Link, Offering designations for the year, and info on LWR

Scholarships and Grants: lists the Scholarships available and the SOS grant

Our Mission Statement is "To mobilize women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ."

Purpose Statement

“As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.”

Who We Are as a Community

We are the North Carolina Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We provide support, events and services for congregations that meet in some 200 ELCA congregations across North Carolina.

Grow in Faith

We grow in faith by prayer ministry. One of our most powerful ministries is PRAYER. Every Monday a prayer list is emailed to our faithful women. At noon they stop and pray for those listed.

Support and Empowerment

We are excited to announce an easier way to give offerings and support the ministries of NC WELCA. Click on the GIVE button below to use the secure giving site provided by Tithe.ly. Please type the name of your congregation in the memo box to ensure that your church receives credit for your offerings.

Offerings, by checks, can be mailed to the NC WELCA Treasurer, Nena Babb, 6130 Heavner Road, Vale, NC 28168. Please use Offering Form A, you find this under Forms.
